Resume Youtube Downloads In IDM after TIMEOUT or Session Expire

Hi everyone, you must have got TIMEOUT error while trying to download a file All which you have paused before or added to QUEUE.

First of all let's understand this error. Many file-sharing sites and Youtube too uses an algo in URL to protect it from abusers or unwanted load. The algo containerization the resolution (for video) and TIMEOUT details. After reaching the TIMEOUT limit the link expires. So you are unable to resume download of your file.

Steps to resume the file.
  1. Here i am having a YouTube video All which had Reached Connection Time Out.

  2. Open Internet Download Manager. Go to file All which has received the error. Double click on it. File properties dialog box will open.

  3. Click on the web link. This will take you to the video page.

  4. In the Download dialog box Click on Download later option.

  5. Now again go to IDM. Double click on the new added video. In File Properties Dialog Copy the Address.
new file added. Double click on the new link

  6. Now open the file and paste the error received Address copied in the previous step.

  7. Save the changes by pressing on OK button. Now you can successfully resume your download.

Same method can be used to download files from other websites. Enjoy Downloading ..
